God teaches and leads each of his children, to encourage one another , and others that do not know him yet, to be led by the Lord. Earlier this week I was in Hobby Lobby , I saw a woman wearing a yellow ribbon on her work apron. In the summer I had given her the ribbon, and she told me wearing it it encourages her to remember the love of God and to be thankful for it. My encounter with students on the University of Arkansas campus frequently begins with my offering a yellow ribbon to remind them they are loved and valued by God. Last Spring, it was a brownie that drew Henry to stop and listen while I was filming a God story for TikTok. Henry is one of the young men I meet with weekly, growing his understanding of God’s purpose for him and how to be a living example with friends and family. This month I met Payam, a sophmore. Payam had a yellow ribbon from stopping by Boomsauce Ministries on the Union mall in October. This time, Payam hollered Hey Boomy, and invited me to walk with him. Our conversation turned to my personal encounter with God when He revealed HOME to me. Payman, who was raised Muslim, is young in his faith walk with Jesus, about 1-1/2 years. That walk was the first of several conversations. Payam requests prayer for while he is home on semester break, and traveling to Vietnam, to be bold in his faith while with family and others that do not believe in Jesus yet. Join me in praying for Payam, and university Students cross the country that love God, to be bold, honest and respectful while they are on break and my not have a faith support network at home. Blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat.... Jeremiah 17:7-8 I’m deeply thankful for you, who partner with Boomsauce Ministries; who pray, and or give, so that together we can encourage and strengthen college students and young adults fin and grow in a relationship with God. .
