Boomsauce Ministries is Celebrating 6 years!

6 years ago, the Holy Spirit led Tyler Zeckmeister to launch Boomsauce Ministries in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This ministry launched to help university students and young adults to see themselves as God sees them, not as the world sees them, and his desire to have a relationship with us.

In the last year, I released my book on Amazon, Learning & Growing In Ways to Hear God, an invitation to know Jesus personally- not just with your mind, but with your heart.

Today, Boomsauce’s outreach has expanded to area high school students, the Fayetteville community and local leaders. It is my desire, that through theses newsletters and conversations we share, you are not only encouraged that God is using Boomsauce Ministries to impact this community but that you want to grow in boldness to move forward to the opportunities God calls you to and to support Boomsauce Ministries prayerfully and financially as we disciple, encourage people in this community to growing to hear God’s voice and the Holy Spirit equips them to move forward.

I spent the past week in Hawaii with my Zeckmeister family, to celebrate family and Boomsauce Ministries’ birthdays, and my parents anniversary. This celebration recognized what God’s doing in each of us, my mom, dad, sister, brother-n-law and niece. It is important for everyone to look and recognize what God is doing in and through you, and encourage one another.

It was a powerful trip. All though I missed Fayetteville, the Holy Spirit opened the door for two or three encounters. Our first day walking for a coffee after breakfast I encountered a man in a wheelchair with an amputation asking for money. I didn’t have money but I had a yellow ribbon and shared my story , and encouraging words that he is loved, valued and seen by God. The next day we were out walking and saw people leading worship on the street. They were bold to sing and some people joined in. I offered yellow ribbons to people watching. the next several days I had opportunities to share my story and share yellow ribbons with people working or staying at our hotel or places we experienced.

Listen for God’s prompts to talk to someone it doesn’t take much. Hi I’m Tyler. Where are you from?  Another encounter, was I met someone from New York. I told him my story, and that my best friend does ministry with Cru in NYC.

The next story happened while our family was in Hawaii we got some heavy news about a neighbor and it was challenging. I was debriefing it with my parents, and was honored that God choose our Zeckmeister family to be their neighbor, and launching Boomsauce Ministries had touched them. Our identity as God sees us has made an impact on how we see ourselves, family members in Arkansas, Texas and Wisconsin. Every person, not just Boomsauce Ministries, can be used by God to make an impact on anyone we encounter.

Last story, when I got back to Fayetteville, I met Tom in an art shop and shared Jesus with him. Tom reminded me of two teachers I had, Mr. Hill and Mr. Juran. I also told Tom his name is the same as one of my dad’s best friends. At the end of our conversation I think Tom was encouraged.
